Tragic Fire in Mumbai's Chandivali Claims Two Lives

A devastating fire in a commercial building in Mumbai's Chandivali area has resulted in the loss of two lives. The fire broke out on the third floor of the Narayan Plaza building, prompting a three-hour firefighting effort. Emergency responders found two individuals unconscious, who were later declared dead at hospitals. The victims have been identified, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation. This incident raises concerns about fire safety in commercial establishments.
 

Fire Incident in Chandivali

On Wednesday evening, a fire broke out in a four-story commercial building located in the Chandivali area of Mumbai, resulting in the deaths of two individuals, as reported by officials. The blaze ignited at 6:36 PM on the third floor of the Narayan Plaza building, situated in the eastern suburb of Andheri.


A municipal official stated that firefighters battled the flames for three hours before managing to extinguish the fire. The incident filled the building with smoke, and emergency responders discovered two unconscious individuals in one of the offices. Unfortunately, both were later pronounced dead at local hospitals.


The deceased have been identified as Bhagwan Pitale, aged 30, and Sumant Jadhav, aged 28, who were declared dead at Seven Hills Hospital and Rajawadi Hospital, respectively.


According to officials, the fire was confined to Unit 303 of M/s Neosel Industries, covering an area of approximately 1,500 square feet. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
