Shocking Discovery in Chandan Park

A horrifying incident in Chandan Park, located in the Timarpur Badli area of Delhi, has left the city in shock. A woman and her three young daughters were discovered dead in a rented apartment, with their throats slit by a sharp weapon.

The deceased woman has been identified as Anita, aged approximately 30 to 32 years. Her daughters, Anushka (5 years), Muskhan (4 years), and Pallavi (3 years), were also victims of this brutal crime. All four bodies were found in a single room, covered in blood. Initial investigations have led the police to suspect the woman's husband, Munachun Kevat (around 34 years old), as the main perpetrator, who has been missing since the incident.

According to police reports, the crime occurred on Tuesday night. Neighbors became suspicious and alerted the authorities around 8 AM on Wednesday. The local police arrived at the scene, recovered the bodies, and called in a forensic team. The autopsy revealed deep wounds on the necks of all victims, consistent with an attack by a sharp object.

Munachun Kevat, originally from Patna in Bihar, was engaged in the vegetable business at Azadpur Mandi. Neighbors and relatives have stated that he was very affectionate towards his wife and daughters, but police investigations are exploring the possibility of family disputes or other motives. Some reports suggest that he may have been upset over not having a son, although this has not been confirmed.

The police have registered a murder case and formed multiple teams to search for the suspect across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Bihar. Investigations are underway, including reviewing CCTV footage, mobile locations, and other evidence. Neighbors reported no unusual sounds or suspicious activities during the night, raising concerns that the assailant may have used some form of narcotic.

This incident is being regarded as one of the most brutal family murders in recent times in Delhi, creating an atmosphere of fear in the community. Authorities have urged anyone with information about Munachun Kevat to come forward. The investigation is ongoing, and a resolution is anticipated soon.
