Tragic Discovery in Loharki Village

Jaisalmer, July 27: A heartbreaking event has shaken the community of Loharki village in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer district, where four family members were tragically discovered deceased in a water tank.

The bodies were found late on Sunday night, leading to widespread grief in the village. Authorities are exploring various angles in their investigation, including the possibility of suicide.

As per police reports, the incident unfolded around 9 p.m. Devkishan, the SHO of Ramdevra, stated that a brother of the deceased, Jasraj, witnessed him jumping into the tank and immediately raised the alarm.

Family and villagers hurried to the scene, but unfortunately, all four individuals had already drowned by the time they arrived.

The victims have been identified as Jasraj Suthar (29), his wife Nirma Suthar (25), their 10-year-old son Bharat, and 5-year-old daughter Manisha.

With assistance from local residents, police retrieved the bodies from the tank and transported them to the hospital mortuary for autopsy. The remains will be returned to the family following the post-mortem examination. Investigators have been gathering evidence at the scene and have notified the relatives of the deceased woman.

Officials indicated that the precise cause of the incident will be clarified only after the autopsy results and the investigation are concluded.

Authorities are currently interviewing family members and local residents to uncover the events leading up to this tragedy.

Initial findings suggest there may have been a domestic dispute between the couple, but officials have not drawn any definitive conclusions, keeping all possibilities open for investigation.
