Heartbreaking Incident in Indore
Indore News: A tragic event has unfolded in Indore, the financial hub of Madhya Pradesh. A two-year-old girl fell from the second floor of her home while playing in the Azad Nagar area. Despite being rushed to the hospital in critical condition, she sadly succumbed to her injuries. The family is now engulfed in grief. According to police reports, the incident occurred in Alok Nagar.
The deceased has been identified as Palak, aged two. It has been reported that shortly before the accident, her mother had bathed and dressed her, leaving her to play indoors. While playing, Palak unexpectedly made her way to the balcony. Eyewitnesses stated that she attempted to lean over the balcony when she lost her balance and fell directly onto the concrete pavement below.
Death at the Hospital
Hearing the sound of the fall and the child's screams, nearby residents rushed to the scene. Family members and neighbors quickly transported her to a nearby private hospital. Despite the doctors' best efforts to save her, the severe injuries sustained from the fall proved fatal.
Police Investigation Underway
Upon receiving news of the incident, police arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. Rajesh Dandotia, the Additional DCP of Indore, indicated that preliminary findings suggest this was an accidental case. Statements from family members are currently being recorded.
Palak's father is originally from Satwas in the Dewas district and has been residing in Alok Nagar, Indore, where he works for a private company. This incident has once again raised serious questions regarding child safety in multi-story buildings and the height of balcony railings.
