A catastrophic event unfolded on Thursday in the Haripur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. An explosion occurred due to a gas pipeline rupture in an industrial area, resulting in the deaths of at least eight individuals. Authorities have expressed concerns that the casualty count may rise. According to officials from the emergency service 'Rescue 1122', the incident took place at the well-known Hattar Industrial Estate. The blast happened near a factory located close to the Grand Trunk Road, and the force of the explosion ignited a massive fire immediately after the pipeline burst.
