Heartbreaking Incident in Sagar District

Sagar News: A chilling incident has emerged from Sagar district in Madhya Pradesh, where a young couple tragically took their own lives in their home. The news sent shockwaves through the community. Upon the police's arrival at the scene, they were taken aback by the sight inside the room. This incident occurred in the Muthiya Tola area under the jurisdiction of the Rahli police station.

The deceased have been identified as 22-year-old Rajendra, also known as Golu, and 21-year-old Kajal Patel. Late Wednesday night, when family members checked the room, they discovered both bodies hanging from the ceiling fan. Disturbingly, Kajal was dressed in her wedding attire (saree), while Rajendra was also attired in his wedding suit, resembling a groom. It appears that before taking this drastic step, they reminisced about their wedding memories.

According to family members, Rajendra and Kajal had entered into a love marriage approximately three years ago. There were no reports of significant disputes or tensions between them. Rajendra was engaged in labor work and agriculture, living with his father and younger brother, while his mother had passed away earlier.

Possible Reasons Behind the Tragedy?

Although no suicide note was found at the scene, initial investigations revealed that the couple had not been able to conceive a child in the three years since their marriage. Locals and police speculate that this sense of emptiness or possibly hidden mental stress may have led them to make this horrifying decision.

Rahli police station chief Sunil Sharma stated that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem after completing the necessary formalities. The police are investigating the case from all angles to uncover the true reasons behind this double suicide.
