Tragic Discovery: Young Woman Found Murdered in Bengaluru Apartment
Murder Investigation Launched in Bengaluru
In a shocking incident in Bengaluru, Karnataka, the mutilated body of a 20-year-old woman was discovered inside a rented apartment. Authorities reported this grim finding on Friday, suspecting that the woman's husband may have committed the murder before fleeing the scene.
The victim has been identified as Reema Kumari, originally from Bihar, who had been living in Bengaluru with her husband, Dheeraj Kumar, for approximately a year. Both were employed at a factory and resided in a rented home located in the Gerupalya area of the Kumbalgodu police jurisdiction. Investigators believe that Dheeraj allegedly killed his wife following a domestic dispute about four to five days prior to the discovery of her body.
A senior police officer indicated that after the murder, the suspect reportedly wrapped Reema's body in a sheet and left it near the toilet inside their home before escaping. The case came to light when Reema failed to show up for work for several days. On Thursday, a colleague visited her residence and, noticing a foul odor, alerted the landlord.
Upon opening the door to the room, authorities found Reema's dismembered body wrapped in a sheet. The police have since registered a murder case and are actively searching for the suspect.
