Investigation Underway After Bodies Discovered

On Wednesday morning, authorities in Odisha uncovered the bodies of two young men in a garage located in the Cuttack district, both showing signs of injury. According to police officials, the deceased have been identified as Prashant Kumar Jena, aged 23, and Mohammad Soheb, 21, both residents of the Choudwar police station area.


The officials reported that the bodies were found tied to a pole with ropes. They have since been taken into custody for autopsy. Vinay Agrawal, the Superintendent of Police for Cuttack (Rural), confirmed that a case has been registered at the Tangi police station, and an investigation is currently underway. Initial inquiries suggest that the two individuals may have been tortured before their deaths.
