Fatal Accident on National Highway

On Friday, a tragic accident occurred on a national highway near Jaipur, Rajasthan, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to three others, including the ambulance driver, as reported by a police official.

The incident took place approximately 30 kilometers from the city in the Kanota police jurisdiction. The victims were identified as 21-year-old Dashrath Yogi, who was suffering from a snake bite, and his mother, Mathuri Devi, aged 48.

According to authorities, Dashrath was bitten by a snake while sleeping at home late Thursday night. He was initially taken to a hospital in Dausa district, but due to his deteriorating condition, he was transferred to SMS Hospital in Jaipur.

The ambulance driver claimed that the collision occurred when the truck in front suddenly braked. Police reported that Mathuri Devi died at the scene, while her son succumbed to his injuries en route to the hospital. An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
