Fatal Accident in Chilla Police Station Area

In a tragic incident in the Chilla police station area of Banda district, two young men lost their lives after being struck by a speeding truck following a head-on collision between two motorcycles. Another individual sustained serious injuries, as reported by local authorities on Friday.

According to Anoop Dubey, the officer in charge of Chilla police station, the accident occurred around 8:30 PM on Thursday near the village of Dohatra. The two motorcycles collided, causing all three riders to fall onto the road, where they were subsequently run over by a truck.

The victims, identified as Sarwar (25) and Ishrat (30) from Lalouli town in Fatehpur district, died at the scene, while the third rider, Pramod (28), was critically injured. Sarwar and Ishrat were riding together on one motorcycle, returning to Lalouli from Banda.

During their journey, they collided with Pramod's motorcycle, leading to the unfortunate accident. The truck then struck Sarwar and Ishrat, resulting in their immediate fatalities. The officer confirmed that the bodies of Sarwar and Ishrat have been sent for post-mortem examination. The truck involved in the incident has been seized, and efforts are underway to locate the driver who fled the scene.
