Initial reports suggest that the victims were traveling in a microvan when a truck from the opposite direction crashed into them. The force of the collision caused the vehicle to veer off the road and plunge into a deep ditch, leading to the fatalities.

A local resident shared that the five youths were well-acquainted and lived in the same area.

“They were all from Ghoramari Batabari and were often seen together. Tragically, they lost their lives at the scene. Among them, three were married, while two were single, and all were under 40 years old,” the resident recounted.

The collision's impact was so severe that the bodies had to be extricated from the wreckage of the vehicle, according to the resident.
