Tragic Clash in Nagpur Leaves One Dead and Four Injured

A tragic incident in Nagpur, Maharashtra, resulted in the death of a 22-year-old man and injuries to four others following a confrontation over a female friend. The police have arrested five individuals, including a minor, as they investigate the violent clash that escalated from a seemingly harmless teasing. In Nagpur, Maharashtra, a confrontation stemming from teasing over a female friend resulted in the death of a 22-year-old man, with four others sustaining injuries. This incident was reported by local authorities on Sunday.


The police have apprehended five individuals in connection with the case, along with one minor who is currently in custody. The deceased has been identified as Ritik Sawanalal Patle, a resident of Parvati Nagar.


Details of the Incident

Those arrested include Esha Hatim Ansari (55), her son Mustafa alias Golu Ansari (28), Lukman Ansari (22), Sahil Ansari (20), and Salahuddin Ansari (19), along with a teenager. The altercation took place around 11:30 PM on Saturday at Parvati Nagar Chowk.


Authorities have registered a case and are actively investigating the matter.


Sequence of Events

According to police reports, Patle and his friend Tanshu Nagpure were sitting outside their home when Mustafa approached them, inviting them to drink alcohol. Upon their refusal, he allegedly insisted they ride with him on his motorcycle.


During their return, Nagpure teased Mustafa about his female friend, which led to a heated argument between the two.


Escalation of Violence

Subsequently, Lukman reportedly insulted Nagpure over the phone. When Patle, Nagpure, and another friend attempted to mediate, they were attacked by six assailants armed with iron rods and knives.


Police stated that Patle suffered severe head injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
