Tragic Boiler Explosion at Vedanta Power Plant Claims Lives in Chhattisgarh

New Delhi. A catastrophic boiler explosion occurred on Tuesday at the Vedanta Power Plant located in Singhitrai, Sakti district, causing widespread panic in the area. The Vedanta Power Plant spokesperson stated that a regrettable incident occurred in the boiler unit on April 14, 2026, involving employees from their subcontractor NGSL, who manage the operation and maintenance of this unit.
