The Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of the flood subdivision, Ramkrishna, confirmed that there were 14 people on the boat. The small vessel lost its balance and overturned in the river as a result of the fierce winds. Following the incident, seven individuals were rescued with the help of nearby boats.
