In a heartbreaking incident in the Timarpur area of North Delhi, a lift used for transporting goods within a crockery factory malfunctioned when its cable snapped, causing it to plummet several floors. Authorities reported on Thursday that this tragic accident resulted in the deaths of two workers.
According to police reports, around 5:20 PM on Wednesday, BSA Hospital notified them that two individuals had been admitted with injuries that proved fatal.
A senior police official confirmed the identities of the deceased as Hariom, aged 32, and Sanjay Mishra, aged 45, both of whom were employed at the ceramic crockery manufacturing facility in Timarpur.
