Tragic Accident in Madhya Pradesh Claims Three Lives
Fatal Incident in Damoh District
Late Monday night, a tragic accident occurred in the Batiyagarh police jurisdiction of Damoh district, Madhya Pradesh, when a dumper truck overturned after its brakes failed, resulting in the deaths of three individuals. Following the incident, one person who was aboard the dumper remains unaccounted for.
According to Rajni Shukla, the officer in charge of the Batiyagarh police station, the dumper was traveling from Bakswaha towards Batiyagarh, approximately 45 kilometers from Damoh. The vehicle lost control and plunged 25 feet down a ravine after the brakes failed at the Gavlari bridge.
The victims included Nitendra Yadav, aged 42, and Dharmendra Lodhi, 35, both of whom died at the scene. Another individual, Shahbad Hussain, 45, was critically injured and referred to a hospital in Jabalpur, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries en route.
Authorities reported that there were four individuals in the dumper, and the fourth person's whereabouts are still unknown. Efforts are underway to locate him. The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the accident.
