Fatal Collision Involving E-Rickshaw

On Thursday, a tragic incident occurred in the city of Hardoi when a speeding dumper collided with an e-rickshaw, resulting in the deaths of two students and leaving another seriously injured, according to police reports.

Authorities stated that the accident took place near Sadhai Behta in the city’s Kotwali area, where the dumper struck the e-rickshaw with great force, causing severe injuries to three students.

The victims were transported to Hardoi Medical College, where doctors pronounced Harsh Sharma (20) and Arshad (21) dead upon arrival.

Harsh was a resident of Janakipuram in Lucknow, while Arshad hailed from Jamia Nagar in Delhi.

The police further reported that the injured student, Anil Kumar, has been referred to Lucknow in critical condition.

All three students were pursuing postgraduate studies and were on their way to take an exam.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and the police are taking necessary legal actions regarding the incident.
