Fatal Incident on Bhopa Bypass
In a tragic incident in the New Mandi police jurisdiction of Muzaffarnagar district, two women lost their lives after being struck by a speeding vehicle on the Bhopa bypass. Additionally, another woman sustained serious injuries, as reported by the police on Tuesday.
The deceased have been identified as Rajveeri, aged 47, and Babli, aged 45, while Sonia, aged 23, is in critical condition. According to Raju Kumar Saw, the Circle Officer of New Mandi, the accident occurred on Monday evening as the women were attempting to cross the road.
The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examination, and the injured woman has been admitted to the hospital in serious condition.
