The victim has been identified as Surender Kumar, aged 40, who hailed from Mandap village in the Dharampur tehsil.

Initial investigations reveal that Surender was returning from Drooman village after dropping off his parents, who were heading to set up a stall at a local fair near Jantri Dhar. The vehicle lost control near a sharp curve on the Gyuin-Drooman road, plunging approximately 700 metres down into the gorge.
