Fatal Incident in Kushinagar District

A tragic accident in Kushinagar district resulted in the death of a 45-year-old man after being struck by a pickup truck. Authorities reported the incident on Thursday.

According to police, the accident occurred on Wednesday night near the Vishunpur police station along the Dudahi-Sevarhi route, as Dharmadev Mehta, a resident of Gopalganj in the neighboring state of Bihar, was returning home from Padrauna.

He was initially taken to the Dudahi Community Health Center (CHC) but was later referred to a medical college hospital due to his critical condition. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries while being transported to the hospital.

Police confirmed that legal proceedings are underway regarding the incident.
