Tragic Accident at Nerul Railway Station Claims Life of 16-Year-Old

A tragic incident occurred at Nerul Railway Station in Navi Mumbai, where a 16-year-old boy lost his life after being electrocuted while attempting to create a social media reel on top of a stationary train. This information was confirmed by the police on Monday.
Victim Identification
The boy has been identified as Aarav Srivastava, a resident of Belapur in Navi Mumbai. On July 6, he visited the railway station with friends.
Circumstances of the Accident
According to officials, Aarav climbed onto a stationary train loaded with garbage to prepare for filming his reel. Unfortunately, while on top of the train, his hand came into contact with high-voltage overhead wires, resulting in a severe electric shock that caused him to fall.
Injuries and Medical Response
Authorities reported that Aarav sustained multiple injuries on his head and other parts of his body, with burns covering up to 60% of his skin. He was initially rushed to a local hospital.
Final Outcome
Despite medical efforts, his condition remained critical, leading to his transfer to the Burns Hospital in Airoli, where he sadly passed away on Saturday night. The police have registered an accidental death case and are currently investigating the incident.
