Survey Results Indicate Competitive Landscape

According to a recent survey conducted by Matterize, the upcoming Tamil Nadu elections in 2026 are expected to witness a fierce contest between the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK)-led India Block and the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The data suggests that the NDA may hold a slight edge, with projections estimating that the coalition could secure between 107 and 120 seats.

DMK-Congress Alliance Projections

The DMK-Congress alliance is projected to win approximately 102 to 115 seats. The survey results indicate that the newly formed party led by Vijay, Tamilga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK), might capture between five and twelve seats, while other parties could garner one to six seats.
