Tiger Movement Causes Stir in Alwar District
On Tuesday night, a tiger's movement in Alwar district created quite a commotion. The big cat made its way from the Sariska Tiger Reserve to the town of Thanagazi. Around 9 PM, drivers passing by halted their vehicles upon spotting the tiger crossing the road, leading to heightened alertness among onlookers.
Tiger Reaches Thanagazi Town
Reports indicate that the tiger traveled from the Sariska Tiger Reserve, passing near the Government Postgraduate College in Thanagazi, and reached close to the local police station. The sight of the tiger on the road caused a sudden stir among the drivers.
Alwar-Jaipur Road Closed for Safety
Upon receiving news of the tiger approaching the town, authorities promptly closed the Alwar-Jaipur road for safety reasons. Vehicles traveling on this route were redirected to alternative paths.
Public Advised to Exercise Caution
The police urged residents of Thanagazi and nearby rural areas to remain vigilant. Given the presence of the wild animal, they advised against unnecessary outings at night and encouraged people to stay in safe locations.
Forest Department Monitors Tiger Activity
A team from the Sariska Forest Department arrived at the scene to monitor the tiger's movements. They are actively tracking the animal to determine its direction of travel.
Alert Issued for Nearby Villages
Following the tiger's proximity to Thanagazi, nearby villages were also put on alert. Teams from the police, forest department, and Sariska administration are closely monitoring the situation.
