Thirteen Arrested for Violent Takeover of Gurugram Farmhouse

On August 7, the Gurugram police apprehended 13 individuals for allegedly storming a farmhouse, assaulting the caretaker and his family, vandalizing property, and attempting to seize control of the premises. An official confirmed the arrests on Friday.
According to police reports, over 50 individuals arrived at the farmhouse in Mahendrawada village on Wednesday night using trucks, tractors, and cars, forcibly entering the property. The assailants reportedly assaulted the caretaker and his family, threatened them with death, insulted the women present, and caused extensive damage.
The police noted that the attackers not only vandalized the property but also damaged CCTV cameras and made off with valuable items, including three air conditioners, a refrigerator, and a washing machine, which were later recovered.
Following a complaint from the farmhouse owner, the police registered a case at the Bhondsi police station and arrested the suspects on Thursday.
