These individuals have been accused of committing heinous acts against numerous women, including filming their private moments. However, this is not the first time such a shocking case has come to light. Twenty-one years ago, a criminal emerged who was responsible for the brutal assaults of nearly 400 women.

In 2004, a crowded courtroom witnessed a shocking scene where a man had chili powder stuffed into his mouth, his private parts mutilated, and his head severed from his body. This brutal act was not carried out by a single woman but by a collective of around 400 women who stormed into the courtroom, armed and ready to deliver justice.

Who Was the Man Behind the Atrocities?

The man who faced such a gruesome fate was none other than Kali Charan, known as Akku Yadav. His insatiable lust led him to prey on countless women, including young girls, middle-aged women, and the elderly. Reports indicate that he was responsible for the sexual assault of over 100 women. His criminal activities were so vile that they would make anyone's blood boil. This case originated from Kasturba Nagar in Nagpur, where Akku Yadav rose from a childhood spent in slums to become a notorious gangster. Born around 1971 in the outskirts of Nagpur, his name first appeared in police records in 1991 when he was implicated in a gang rape case, which only emboldened him to commit further atrocities.

How Did He Continue His Crimes?

Akku Yadav was known for his cunning ways, often bribing police officers to avoid arrest. He would entertain them lavishly and regularly pay them hefty sums as bribes. This allowed him to operate freely in his neighborhood, instilling fear among the local women who often locked their doors at night.

The Horrific Acts of Akku Yadav

Women from the area recounted how Akku Yadav had brutally mutilated a woman named Asha Bhagat, causing her immense pain in front of her daughter and neighbors. He even dismembered her body, delivering a horrific death. In another instance, he abducted a woman shortly after her wedding and assaulted her. Akku and his gang also gang-raped a woman named Kalma just ten days after she gave birth. Following this traumatic experience, Kalma attempted to take her own life by setting herself on fire. His modus operandi involved abducting women from their homes and subjecting them to horrific assaults.

On August 13, 2004, Akku Yadav was scheduled to appear in court. The police escorted him to the Nagpur District Court under heavy security. Women from the city were aware of this and filled the courtroom. As the police brought the 'monster' into courtroom number 7, a group of 400 women charged in, ready to exact their revenge.

As soon as the police brought Akku into the courtroom, the women attacked him with sharp weapons. They first threw chili powder in his face, then proceeded to stab him with knives and stones. In the chaos, he was completely overwhelmed. Before anyone could react, his genitals were severed. Moments later, his screams ceased. When the police finally regained control, they found Akku's body in tatters, with body parts scattered around the courtroom, soaked in blood. This day marked the end of evil and the triumph of good, allowing every woman in the area to finally sleep peacefully.
