Judge's Frustration Caught on Video

A video featuring a Texas judge reprimanding a court IT staff member during a hearing has gone viral. The footage shows Nathan Milliron, a judge in Harris County, visibly irritated while addressing what was termed a minor audio glitch in his courtroom. In the video, the IT technician approaches the judge to resolve the issue and inquires about his audio connection. The technician states, "You don’t have to go too far; you just joined from your audio here, right?" to which Judge Milliron confirms, "Yes." After assessing the situation, the technician assures that everything is functioning correctly, declaring it a "false alarm." The judge sharply retorts, "No, it wasn’t a false alarm." When the technician jokingly refers to it as a "false negative," Judge Milliron seems offended, asserting, "I’m serious about this. It was happening," before concluding, "We’re good. Thank you. Get out of my courtroom." Shortly after the technician exits, the judge is heard off-camera expressing frustration, saying, "Find his supervisor… Jesus Christ. I’m sick and tired of this bulls–t today." This video has garnered millions of views on social media, leading to criticism of the judge's behavior. Many users praised the technician for his professionalism while questioning the judge's reaction. Although there have been calls for an apology from Judge Milliron, no reports indicate he has issued one. Local sources reveal that the IT technician is a valued court employee, known for his helpfulness. Judge Milliron has been serving in the 215th District Court since January 2025. Rabeea Collier, the administrative judge of the civil court, acknowledged the concerns raised by the footage in a statement. She emphasized the Civil Trial Division's commitment to a respectful workplace and the integrity of the judicial process. While she refrained from commenting on specific ongoing reviews, she stated, "The conduct of everyone serving in the judicial system must reflect the professionalism, respect, and impartiality that the public rightly expects." Judge Collier also noted that formal procedures are in place to address concerns regarding judicial conduct and reiterated the division's dedication to serving the community with dignity and respect.
