According to Police Circle Officer Raju Kumar Saw, law enforcement arrived swiftly at the scene after receiving reports of the incident and managed to calm the agitated group of Kanwariyas.

The altercation reportedly began when a Kanwariya's offering collided with the motorcyclist. Following this, the group turned on the biker, physically assaulting him and vandalizing his motorcycle. Saw noted that police presence helped de-escalate the situation, allowing the Kanwar Yatra to resume.
