Patna, August 6: A Station House Officer (SHO) was injured during a confrontation that arose from a Chehlum procession in the Khajekalan area of Patna, as reported by local authorities on Thursday.

The altercation took place on Wednesday night when law enforcement intervened to halt a Chehlum procession that was allegedly being conducted without the necessary permissions from the district authorities.

Officials indicated that police were dispatched to the scene after receiving alerts about the lack of prior approval for the event.
