On Thursday, Telangana's Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla emphasized the remarkable ability of differently-abled athletes to turn challenges into opportunities, serving as a beacon of inspiration for society.


Recognition for Aditya Mehta Foundation

During the 14th Presentation and Felicitation Ceremony held by the Aditya Mehta Foundation in Rasoolpura, Hyderabad, the Governor praised the organization's commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities through sports, training, and rehabilitation.


While engaging with para-athletes and assessing their training facilities, Shukla acknowledged the Foundation's crucial role in developing sporting talent from the grassroots level, enabling athletes to compete on both national and international stages, as noted in a press release from Lok Bhavan.


Pride in National Achievements

The Governor extended his congratulations to para-cyclists Shivani, Jyoti, Sheikh Arshad, and Leesha Das for their accomplishments, highlighting their status as a source of national pride.


He expressed optimism that their commitment, discipline, and perseverance would further elevate India's standing in the realm of international sports.
