Court Appearance by Telangana Chief Minister

The Chief Minister of Telangana, A. Revanth Reddy, appeared in a local court on Saturday regarding a case filed against him in 2023 in the Suryapet district. Reddy has denied the allegations made against him and has opted to contest the charges in court.


The court has scheduled the hearing for this case on February 4, 2026. Additionally, the state's irrigation minister, N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, is also implicated in this case but was not present during the proceedings. The charges stem from an incident during the 2023 election campaign, where it is alleged that they improperly obstructed individuals during a roadshow in the Mattampally police station area of Suryapet district.


On the same day, the Chief Minister also appeared in court concerning two other cases filed against him in 2023, with the next hearing for these cases also set for February 4, 2026.
