Tejashwi Yadav's Strong Critique of Bihar's Law and Order Situation
Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the opposition leader in Bihar, launched a fierce attack on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday. He accused the state government of a significant rise in crime and a complete breakdown of law and order. Yadav stated that the credibility of the state government has been entirely lost. Speaking to reporters, he emphasized that crime is escalating daily, with murders, rapes, and shootings occurring regularly. This situation clearly indicates that the government's credibility has vanished, and law and order has completely deteriorated.
Yadav pointed out that the current administration is under the control of criminals. He criticized the government officials, including the Chief Minister and both Deputy Chief Ministers, for their unwillingness to take responsibility. He remarked that Nitish Kumar seems to have weakened, forgetting what is happening around him. Highlighting the political dynamics in the state, he noted that Kumar has never assigned the Home Ministry to anyone, but now he must hand it over to the BJP.
Furthermore, Yadav condemned those who expose the law and order situation without self-reflection, suggesting that individuals who loudly discuss crime in the state should first examine their own actions. He reiterated that law and order has completely collapsed. Earlier on Monday, Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha stated that the state government is committed to establishing the rule of law.
Sinha acknowledged the role of the opposition but insisted that they must fulfill their responsibilities honestly. He mentioned that the opposition should actively engage in Bihar, touring the state to witness development firsthand. The opposition leader must sincerely uphold their duties, as the government is working to establish the rule of law.
