Disturbing Incident at Varanasi School

In Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, a shocking incident occurred at a private school where a teacher reportedly burned a five-year-old boy's private parts with a hot knife after he urinated in his pants. This information was disclosed by the police on Monday.

According to police reports, the teacher, along with the school management and principal, is now facing legal action as an investigation has been initiated.

Advocate Kesari Jaiswal shared that his son, Sarin, a nursery student at a play school, attended classes on July 24 as usual. Upon returning home, he complained of pain in his private area, and upon inspection, his mother discovered blisters. When questioned, other children revealed that Sarin had asked teacher Preeti Kushwaha for permission to use the bathroom but was denied. Consequently, he urinated in his pants, which led to the enraged teacher taking him to another room where she heated a knife on a gas stove and burned the child's private parts.

On July 25, Jaiswal, along with his wife and child, visited the school to file a complaint with the principal and management. He alleged that instead of taking action, the school officials told him to do whatever he deemed necessary. Following this, he lodged a formal complaint with the police.

The Lalpur-Pandeypur police station confirmed that based on the complaint, a case has been registered against teacher Preeti Kushwaha, the school management, and the principal under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt), 118(1) (causing hurt with a knife, fire, or other dangerous weapons), and 351(2) (criminal intimidation). The investigation is currently underway.
