Controversy Surrounds TCS Nashik Branch

The Nashik branch of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is currently embroiled in controversy following allegations of sexual harassment and forced religious conversion by female employees. A male colleague has now come forward with a shocking account of his experiences. He claims that he was not only pressured to pray and wear a cap but also faced vile comments about his personal life that left many astonished. Speaking to a news outlet, the victim alleged that his team leader and other coworkers mocked his married life. According to him, when they learned that he and his wife had not been able to conceive after several years of marriage, one colleague made an offensive remark, suggesting, "If medical treatment fails, send your wife to me."

Allegations of Systematic Harassment

The harassment reportedly began shortly after he joined the company in 2022. His team leader, Taoufiq Attar, allegedly targeted him alongside colleague Danish Sheikh. In a position of authority, Taoufiq purportedly coerced the victim into following all directives and burdened him with excessive work, including tasks meant for others.

Legal Action Taken

Both Danish and Taoufiq have been named in a police FIR filed by a 23-year-old female employee at TCS Nashik, who accused Danish of attempting to kiss her against her will and expressing a desire to marry her. She also claimed that Taoufiq and HR executive Nida Khan made derogatory comments about deities and attempted to influence her religious beliefs.

Religious Identity Under Attack

In a statement to a news outlet, the victim, a devout Hindu and follower of Ramdas Swami, who regularly wears a rudraksha mala, stated that his religious identity became a point of contention. He alleged that his coworkers frequently ridiculed Hindu beliefs, questioned the existence of Hindu deities, and made disparaging remarks about revered figures in Maharashtra.

Escalation of Abuse

The harassment was not limited to verbal abuse. The victim claimed that after night shifts, he was taken to hotels and pressured to eat non-vegetarian food, despite being a strict vegetarian. When he refused, his beliefs were mocked. He further alleged that during Eid in 2023, Taoufiq took him to his home, forced him to wear a religious cap, compelled him to pray, and took pictures that were later shared in the company’s official group to humiliate him.

Personal Life Targeted

The victim also asserted that his personal life was ridiculed, particularly the fact that he and his wife had no children after several years of marriage. He claimed that the accused made extremely offensive comments, including suggesting that if he wanted a child, he should send his wife to them.

Threats and Intimidation

The situation worsened when the victim opposed their demands, leading to confrontations at work. He alleged that Taoufiq threw a table fan at him and threatened his life. He also accused Taoufiq, Danish, Shahrukh, and Raza Memon of making inappropriate comments about female employees and targeting them as well. He claimed that when his father suffered a stroke, the accused suggested that converting to Islam would cure him.

Continued Harassment

When he refused to comply with their demands, the victim alleged that false complaints were lodged against him at the head office in an attempt to get him fired. He reported that this harassment persisted from 2022 until March 23, 2026. According to him, the accused initially pretended to befriend him before revealing their true intentions. He claimed that he was repeatedly pressured to convert his religion, including being forced to recite the Kalma and remove his rudraksha mala.

Psychological Manipulation

He believes their goal was to mentally break him down to the point where he would agree to convert. When he resisted, he was deliberately targeted and provoked at work.
