TMC Legislator Suspended from West Bengal Assembly

Kunal Ghosh, a member of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), faced suspension from the West Bengal Assembly after interrupting a discussion on the Home and Hill Affairs budget. Following the Speaker's directive, marshals forcibly removed Ghosh from the chamber. Subsequently, Minister Tapas Roy proposed that Ghosh be suspended for the remainder of the session. Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari condemned Ghosh's behavior as unacceptable.

In another incident, Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal introduced a motion to suspend TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee for the remainder of the current Monsoon session.
