Former T20I captain of India, Suryakumar Yadav, has voiced his support for the national cricket team and the young talent Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who is just 15 years old. He also addressed a misleading statement circulating on social media that was incorrectly attributed to him.

In a recent post on X, Suryakumar expressed his unwavering confidence in the Indian players, stating that they are putting forth their best efforts. He conveyed his heartfelt wishes for the team's success, saying, "I am thrilled for the team and wish them nothing but the best. I know the boys are giving their all, and they will always have my complete support. A special shoutout to Vaibhav - you're at the beginning of what looks to be an exciting journey. Enjoy every moment and continue to make the country proud."

The seasoned cricketer urged fans to be cautious about misinformation, clarifying that a statement circulating online was not made or endorsed by him. He emphasized, "I have noticed a statement being shared that has been falsely attributed to me. I want to clarify that I have not made or authorized any such statement. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Breaks Records

In a historic moment during the second T20I in Manchester, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi made headlines by becoming the youngest Indian international cricketer at the age of 15 years and 99 days, surpassing the previous record held by Sachin Tendulkar, who debuted at 16 years and 238 days. Despite the excitement surrounding his debut, Sooryavanshi did not play in the Ireland series, which India lost 2-0, nor did he participate in the first T20I against England, which was canceled due to rain. In his first innings, he scored 14 runs off 10 balls, including two sixes.

Insights from the Coach on Sooryavanshi's Debut

During a press conference before the third T20I, batting coach Sitanshu Kotak shared insights regarding Sooryavanshi's debut. He stated, "When Vaibhav joined the team, he was already set to debut. It’s not that he became ready just before the last match. Our only advice was to play his game, follow his instincts, and continue playing the style of cricket that brought him here. We did not provide any specific instructions like 'do this' or 'do that' for batting."
