He matched the records of Yuzvendra Chahal and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, becoming only the third bowler in the league's history to claim 200 wickets, and the first among foreign players. Narine is now the third-highest wicket-taker in IPL history.

Against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Narine clean bowled Salil Arora with a remarkable delivery to secure his 200th IPL wicket. He added another wicket in the same innings, finishing with two wickets for 31 runs in four overs, having bowled the first over for KKR.
