Weather Takes a Turn in NCR

New Delhi. On Wednesday evening, the weather in the NCR region, including Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, and Gurugram, experienced a sudden shift. A storm accompanied by light rain began to sweep through the area.

Reports indicate that winds were blowing at speeds of up to 50 km/h, accompanied by thunder. This caused traffic to come to a standstill on the roads, and metro services were also delayed.

In Gurugram, the morning started with fog, followed by a dust-laden wind and light rain in the evening.

The weather in Cyber City changed multiple times throughout the day. Due to humidity, a light fog covered the area in the morning, slightly affecting visibility and providing a cool sensation. As the day progressed, clouds began to gather by noon, although the sun peeked through intermittently.

Amidst these weather changes, the maximum temperature recorded was 31.8 degrees Celsius, slightly below normal, while the minimum temperature was 15.0 degrees Celsius. The entire district experienced a shift in weather, raising concerns among farmers as it is currently the harvest season.

As evening approached, the weather took a sudden turn. Around 6:30 PM, strong dust-laden winds began to blow, causing discomfort for residents. This was followed by light rain, which further cooled the atmosphere. After a day of warmth, this rain made the weather pleasant and resulted in a drop in temperature.

What to Expect Tomorrow in Delhi?
According to the weather department, a yellow alert has been issued for Thursday and Friday in Delhi-NCR. Light rain and thunderstorms are expected in the morning and evening. Additionally, gusty winds at speeds of 40 to 50 km/h are anticipated.

This could lead to a further drop in temperature, keeping the weather cool. While this change has provided relief from the heat, the strong winds and dust storms have temporarily disrupted daily life. However, the rain has made the weather more enjoyable, allowing residents to feel a sense of relief.
