Successful Training for Census 2027 Phase I Concludes in Bharmour

The training for Census 2027 Phase I has successfully concluded at Government College Bharmour, equipping 32 supervisors and enumerators for the house listing exercise. Conducted by expert trainers, the program emphasized accuracy and efficiency in census operations. Residents are encouraged to utilize the self-enumeration facility available until June 15. The official house listing phase will run from June 16 to July 15, 2026. This initiative aims to ensure smooth participation and accurate data collection for the nationwide census.

The initial training session aimed at facilitating the Census 2027 Phase I has successfully wrapped up at Government College Bharmour. This three-day workshop, which commenced on June 5, equipped 32 supervisors and enumerators with the necessary skills for the upcoming house listing process.


The training was conducted by Dr. Rajinder Singh (Assistant Professor, History) and Vishal Mahir (Assistant Professor, Economics), who served as master trainers. They provided participants with comprehensive insights into all facets of census operations to guarantee both accuracy and efficiency.


The program was inaugurated by Sub-Divisional Officer Bharmour Vikas Sharma, who encouraged residents to utilize the self-enumeration option available from June 1 to June 15 at se.census.gov.in. The first phase of the census, which includes house listing and housing census, is scheduled to take place from June 16 to July 15, 2026.


During the closing ceremony, Tehsildar Bharmour Tej Ram Bhardwaj was in attendance, celebrating the successful conclusion of the training.


This initiative is anticipated to enhance preparations for the nationwide census, ensuring effective participation and precise data collection.
