Successful Completion of Teacher Training Program at Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Kangra

Under the guidance of esteemed leaders, the program featured interactive sessions led by expert Mrs. Shilpa Sharma, who highlighted AI's role in enhancing teaching methods. Participants engaged in discussions and activities, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and technological advancement. The three-day In-House Teacher Training Programme at Maharishi Vidya Mandir in Kangra successfully concluded, guided by the blessings of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji and the leadership of Chairman Brahmachari Girish Ji. The event was overseen by Principal Ms. Pooja Sharma.


The training commenced with a Guru Pooja and a session on Transcendental Meditation (TM). Principal Ms. Pooja Sharma warmly welcomed and honored the Resource Person, Mrs. Shilpa Sharma, who is an Assistant Professor in the B.C.A. Department at Dronacharya.


As the Chief Guest and Resource Person, Mrs. Shilpa Sharma emphasized the significance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the educational landscape. She elaborated on how AI can enrich the teaching-learning experience, assist educators in crafting innovative materials, engage students more effectively, and maximize classroom efficiency. Through hands-on activities and real-world examples, she introduced teachers to the various applications of AI in education.


Teachers were actively involved in group discussions, presentations, and various activities, sharing their insights and experiences. The interactive format of the training made it both engaging and impactful.


In her address, Principal Ms. Pooja Sharma stressed the necessity of ongoing learning and technological advancement for educators in today's world. She pointed out that AI should be regarded as a complementary tool rather than a replacement for teachers, advocating for its creative integration to enhance teaching effectiveness.


Feedback gathered at the conclusion of the program indicated that participants found the training to be beneficial, informative, and practical. Educators valued the chance to connect topics such as the New Education Policy (NEP), Value Education, Health and Wellness, Indian Knowledge Systems, Vocational Education, and Artificial Intelligence with their teaching methodologies.


During the closing ceremony, certificates were awarded to all participating teachers by Resource Person Mrs. Shilpa Sharma and Principal Ms. Pooja Sharma, who wished them continued success in their teaching endeavors.
