After being invited to meet her, the man engaged in conversation while seated in a car. During this interaction, he was manipulated into parting with two lakh rupees. Subsequently, both the woman and her accomplice vanished without a trace. The victim reported the fraudulent act to the police, who have since registered a case and initiated an investigation.

Marriage Proposal Discussion Just Days Ago

Deependra Gurjar, a resident of Ghorira in Bhind, Madhya Pradesh, had discussed a marriage proposal for his younger brother, Shivraj, with a woman named Aarti just eight days prior. She had requested two lakh rupees for the meeting. On Friday, Deependra arrived at Rambag with his friend Udal and a driver. At that moment, two young men and another individual approached them. Deependra was introduced to a woman so beautiful that he immediately agreed to the marriage proposal. During this time, he was persuaded to hand over two lakh rupees.

The Woman Disappears Under Pretense

The woman presented as a potential bride was identified as Anjali. While conversing, she claimed she needed to step out of the car to talk to her sister. In the process, she also took the victim's mobile phone. Despite waiting for her return, Anjali never came back, and the others involved in the scheme also disappeared with the money.

Victim Files a Police Complaint

Realizing he had been scammed, the victim promptly went to the police station to report the incident. Following his complaint, the police registered a case and stated that efforts are underway to locate the suspects.
