New Delhi, August 8 - On Friday, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance reached out to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to explore ways to enhance the extensive global strategic partnership between India and the United States. During the call, Modi congratulated Vance and his wife Usha on the birth of their son.
This conversation followed the recent signing of a mutual defense agreement among Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, which is perceived as a sign of a new regional alliance amid ongoing conflicts in West Asia. In a post on 'X', Modi stated, 'I spoke with U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance. We discussed ways to further strengthen the comprehensive global strategic partnership between India and the U.S.' He added, 'I congratulated Vance and his wife on the birth of their son and extended best wishes to the entire family.'
