Jaipur. Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing health security in Rajasthan as it marks two decades of operation. Since its inception, the company has disbursed over ₹1,370 crores across more than 277,800 claims, providing health insurance to over 5.15 million individuals. This reflects the company's growing presence and support for families in the state.

Rapid Growth in Rajasthan

Star Health's operations in Rajasthan are expanding swiftly. In the fiscal year 2026, the company approved over 43,000 claims totaling ₹240 crores and provided health insurance to more than 500,000 individuals. In the first quarter of fiscal year 2027, the company reported a gross written premium exceeding ₹87 crores, issued over 37,000 policies, covered more than 100,000 individuals, and processed over 14,300 claims worth ₹68 crores.

Expanding Reach in Rajasthan

Star Health's network is continuously growing, reaching from urban areas to new markets across Rajasthan. The company operates in 27 districts, with over 40 branches, four rural insurance centers, and more than 20,680 advisors. This robust network enables the company to deliver health insurance and customer service effectively throughout the state. Over its 20-year journey, Star Health has evolved beyond traditional insurance, introducing services like 'Talk to Star,' which allows customers to consult doctors online and receive guidance for home healthcare and pre-scheduled hospital admissions.

Through 'Talk to Star,' customers can receive online consultations with doctors and obtain treatment recommendations, including home care and pre-arranged hospital admissions. This service is available on the Star Health app. Additionally, customers can call 7200 222 333 for assistance between 8 AM and 8 PM.

Under Star Health's home healthcare service, eligible policyholders can receive medically appropriate treatment for conditions that can be safely managed outside a hospital, through a cashless arrangement. This service, available in 300 cities, provided nearly 50,000 consultations in the first quarter of fiscal year 2027, witnessing an annual increase of approximately 600%.
