Sri Lanka has revealed its 15-member squad for the women's cricket event at the 2026 Asian Games, following their second-place finish in the Women's Asia Cup where they were defeated by India in the final. Chamari Athapaththu will captain the team, which includes several players from the Asia Cup squad, alongside a few new additions, as reported by the ICC.

Key Players Missing from the Squad

Among the notable absentees is Vishmi Gunarathne, who played a significant role in both the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup and the Women’s Asia Cup. Nilakshika Silva, another key player from those tournaments, has also been excluded. Additionally, Chetana Vimukthi, who returned to the team for the Asia Cup, will not participate in the Asian Games.
