Starting Thursday, Sporting Club Delhi will kick off their home matches in the ISL, following a challenging start to the season. They will face Jamshedpur FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. So far, the team has recorded one draw and three losses, including defeats against Bengaluru FC (2-0), East Bengal FC (4-1), and FC Goa (1-0), all in away games. The club, which transitioned from Hyderabad FC to Sporting Club Delhi, is eager to secure positive results in front of their dedicated local fans.

In an interview, Hangshing shared his feelings about captaining the team, stating, 'It feels incredible, something I never imagined. I feel blessed.' He noted the players' long wait for the return of football and expressed joy at the sport's revival. 'Playing in front of our passionate home fans will be a monumental moment for us,' he added, hoping for a memorable night and a victory.
