Just days after Singh questioned the appointment of Dhillon as Punjab BJP President, his wife, Prineet Kaur, who transitioned from Congress MP to BJP leader, pledged full support to the new state president. During her speech at the event where Dhillon was to assume office, Kaur emphasized the need for unity ahead of the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections.
