Son's Revenge: Shocking Murder of Father in Lucknow
A Shocking Tale of Revenge
In Lucknow, a son has taken a chilling revenge on his father for an incident that occurred 11 years ago, leaving many in disbelief. Let's delve into the details of this shocking case.
Background of the Incident: The story traces back to 2015 in Kalyanpur, Lucknow, when 11-year-old Anup, known as Sonu Kashyap, witnessed his father, Manoj Kumar, publicly slap his mother, leading to her humiliation. This traumatic event caused severe psychological issues for her, including memory loss and seizures, which Sonu could never forget.
Growing Anger: As Sonu matured, so did his anger towards his father. After securing a job as a delivery boy, he continued to replay the humiliating moment in his mind. Recently, he spotted Manoj selling coconut water at Munshipulia Crossing, reigniting his desire for revenge. He confided in friends Sunny Kashyap, Salman, Ranjit Kumar, and Rahmat Ali, vowing to not let his father live after what he did to his mother.
Planning the Attack: On May 22, Sonu and his friends devised a plan to attack Manoj. They knew his daily route home and waited for him. When Manoj passed by, Sonu struck him first with a metal rod, and the others joined in, beating him until he collapsed, believing he was dead before fleeing the scene.
Police Investigation: The case became a mystery for the police, with no leads for nearly two months. However, a breakthrough came when they discovered an orange T-shirt featuring a cartoon character from The Simpsons, which appeared in CCTV footage from the crime scene. A young man recently posted a photo of himself wearing the same shirt on social media. A special team from Indira Nagar police, monitoring social media, tracked him down. During questioning, he confessed, leading to the arrest of Sonu and his accomplices on July 20. Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Shashank Singh confirmed that this was a premeditated murder rooted in a decade-old grudge.
