Sonia Gandhi Admitted to Hospital for Health Concerns

The Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi issued a statement on Wednesday confirming that senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi is in stable condition. Doctors are currently examining her for a potential infection in her abdomen and urinary tract. This announcement came a day after she was admitted to the hospital. According to reports, Dr. Ajay Swaroop, the hospital's president, stated that Sonia Gandhi was admitted at 10:22 PM on Tuesday.

Dr. Swaroop mentioned that her condition remains stable, and a team of doctors is closely monitoring her health while administering antibiotics. Reports indicate that Gandhi was hospitalized due to breathing difficulties. Following a thorough medical examination, it was revealed that the combined effects of cold weather and pollution in Delhi had slightly exacerbated her bronchial asthma issues.

Sources have indicated that Gandhi's health deteriorated, likely due to the changing weather, prompting her hospitalization for observation. They reassured that there is no cause for alarm and her condition is not serious. As a precaution, the medical team decided to admit her for monitoring and further treatment. Rahul Gandhi, her son and Congress MP, canceled his scheduled official trip to Kerala on Wednesday due to concerns over his mother's health.
