This extraordinary family is located in the picturesque village of Baktawng in Mizoram. The head of the family, Ziona Chana, has 39 wives, 94 children, 14 daughters-in-law, 33 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Their family holds the Guinness World Record for being the largest family. Ziona takes immense pride in his family, but how does he manage such a large household? Let's find out.

The eldest wife of Ziona serves as the matriarch, overseeing household chores and ensuring everything runs smoothly. All family members contribute to the daily tasks, which helps maintain harmony and prevents conflicts. In addition to household duties, the women also engage in farming, while Ziona and his sons work as carpenters.

Daily Food Requirements

Ziona has constructed a home with 100 rooms, ensuring ample space for everyone. The family boasts a large kitchen where they prepare enough food to last a typical family for two to three months. Daily, they consume 45 kilograms of rice, 30-40 chickens, 25 kilograms of lentils, dozens of eggs, 60 kilograms of vegetables, and 20 kilograms of fruits.

The family adheres to strict discipline and holds significant influence in their community. Local leaders regard them highly, as their votes can sway elections. This prominence has made them well-known in their village and surrounding areas.

Remembering Names and Birthdays
