A Comedic Tale of a Mechanic's Visit

Mrs. Dubey called, stating, "I am Mrs. Dubey from Nehru Nagar, Parijat Extension Q.NO. HIG B/16. My air conditioner isn't functioning properly. Please come and fix it after I leave for the office in the afternoon. The entire house will be locked, but the living room will be open."

She mentioned that the key to the main door would be hidden under a nearby flower pot, instructing the mechanic to unlock the door and repair the AC inside.

Mrs. Dubey warned him about a Doberman dog in the living room, assuring him it was trained and would not attack unless commanded.

Additionally, there was a parrot in a cage that was quite talkative, but she cautioned him not to engage with it. After the work was completed, he was to lock the room and return the key to the same spot. She promised to pay him when she returned from work.

The mechanic arrived in the afternoon, and upon entering, he was startled to see the Doberman lying near the sofa. However, the dog merely glanced at him before dozing off again.

As he proceeded, the parrot squawked, "Hey thief, what are you doing?" It continued to shout for two hours, making the mechanic's job increasingly difficult.

The parrot called him names and even hurled insults, driving the mechanic to the brink of frustration. He contemplated retaliating with a screwdriver but restrained himself, remembering Mrs. Dubey's warning.

As he was packing up to leave, the parrot taunted him again, asking, "Hey thief, what did you steal?"

The mechanic found it hard to endure the parrot's incessant chatter. He thought Mrs. Dubey was exaggerating about the bird's behavior. After all, how much harm could a caged parrot do?

He pulled out his screwdriver and approached the parrot, saying, "You little rascal, just wait!"

At that moment, the parrot screeched, "Shoo... Tommy, shoo!"

The mechanic fled in panic, and to this day, he remains in shock from the encounter!
