Court to Inspect Bhojshala Amid Ongoing Dispute
A major update has emerged regarding the Bhojshala dispute located in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. The Indore bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, which is overseeing the case, has decided that the presiding judge will personally visit the contentious site. Following this inspection, the court plans to commence regular hearings on the matter starting April 2.
According to reports, the court emphasized the necessity of inspecting the site to fully comprehend the arguments presented by all parties involved. Therefore, the judge will tour the Bhojshala complex to assess the actual conditions there. Administrative officials and representatives from the concerned parties may also be present during this visit.
The Bhojshala has been a subject of dispute for an extended period. One faction claims it is a temple, while another asserts it is a mosque. Numerous petitions have been filed in court regarding this issue, and hearings have occurred periodically.
During a previous hearing, the court remarked on the importance of clearly understanding all facts due to the sensitivity of the case. This led to the decision to conduct an inspection before proceeding with regular hearings.
As per the court's directive, regular hearings will begin on April 2, focusing on archaeological surveys, administrative matters, and detailed discussions on the arguments from both sides. The upcoming hearings are anticipated to be crucial in resolving this dispute.
